ARE YOU TURNING 65?
Are you looking for a Medicare plan that fits your unique healthcare needs and budget? Please call me for a complimentary consultation.
Please read this first: If you are aging into Medicare (turning 65), and already receiving Social Security, you will be auto-enrolled in Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B. If you are not already drawing Social Security -AND- will not be covered under an employer or union group plan, please go to ssa.gov and enroll in Medicare Part A and Part B. If you and/or your spouse intend to continue working and you're covered under an employer or union group health plan, you have the option to defer Part B. You will receive a Special Enrollment Period, beginning when you lose your group coverage, and will not be assessed any late enrollment penalties. If you or your spouse are working and you're still contributing to an HSA, please keep in mind that Medicare Part A has a "6-month look-back", meaning pre-tax contributions must stop 6 months prior to enrolling in Part A. Regardless of when you decide to enroll, I STRONGLY advise you to start this process as early as possible to avoid delays in getting your Medicare ID card (typically 30 days). You must have Part A and Part B to be eligible to enroll in either a Medicare Advantage Plan or a Medicare Supplement Plan with a Stand-Alone Prescription Drug Plan. If you are receiving Medicaid and/or have a qualifying chronic health condition, please call me to discuss Special Needs Plans. If would like my assistance or if you just have questions, please call me.......... no cost, no obligation, just help.

Medicare Part C, also known as Medicare Advantage, is coverage offered by private insurance companies. Medicare Advantage combines your Part A, Part B, and often Part D coverage into one plan.
Medicare Part D is a stand alone prescription drug plan approved by Medicare. Designed to help make prescription drugs more affordable for those enrolled, this plan can also be included in a Medicare Advantage Plan.
